My musical collection has quite a bit of variety. This leads to some jarring transitions between tracks when listening on shuffle. This morning on the way to work I got the Johnny Cash cover of Cat's in the Cradle. Which was followed by Eminem/D12 with One Shot 2 Shot. Here are some YouTube versions for your enjoyment. Consider yourself warned that Eminem has NSFW lyrics.

Same here. If the cards play right, I can jump from Kenny Loggins' Danger Zone...

...to Orange Caramel's Catallena...

Same issue here. Skate punk to classical to fusion jazz to Cuban to who knows what. It's always an adventure, but passengers tend to get confused. Usually if I have someone else in the car I'll just choose a genre and stick with that for a while, but I find that, well, boring. The trick is to find passengers with equally varied musical tastes.

Because of my personality and who I am, my music playlist ranges from Orchestra, to pop, to metal, to rap, and all the way around to movie and game soundtracks.

What a delight it is to go from the Dark Knight soundtrack, to Nightwish, Ozzie, a dash of old school Black Eyed Peas, Weird Al, Eminem, Bruno Mars, MKTO, and then full circle back to the Back to the Future and Halo soundtracks. <3

Once I had a guy bet me that I didn't have techno/electronic in my collection. He lost. Fischerspooner was close enough for a guy who listens to hair metal and country.
